# How To Configure Templately WorkSpace

Templately WorkSpace is a shared cloud folder for your team. You create a workspace, invite people by email, and add templates to it. Everyone in the workspace can then insert those designs on any WordPress site where they sign in to Templately. This guide shows you how to set up a Templately WorkSpace, invite your team and share templates with them.

## My Cloud vs Templately WorkSpace

| **Place** | **Who can use it** |
| --- | --- |
| My Cloud | Only you. Your private storage for saved templates. |
| My WorkSpace | Workspaces you created, shared with the people you invite. |
| Shared with Me | Workspaces other people invited you to. |

## Step 1: Open My WorkSpace

In your WordPress dashboard, click **Templately** and sign in. See [how to install Templately](https://docs.templately.com/home/install-templately-wordpress-plugin/) if you have not yet. Click your profile icon at the top right, then click **My WorkSpace**.

## Step 2: Create a Workspace and Invite Your Team

1. Click **Add New Workspace**.
2. Type a **Name** for the workspace, for example the client or project name.
3. Under **Add people**, type a teammate's email address and click **Add**. Repeat for each person. They appear under **Shared with**.
4. Click **Create Workspace**.

Each person you add is invited to the workspace. Once they accept, it shows up under **Shared with Me** in their own Templately account. You can skip **Add people** and invite your team later.

## Step 3: Add Templates to the Workspace

There are three ways to put a template in a Templately WorkSpace:

- **Save straight to it:** when you [save a page or section from Elementor or Gutenberg](https://docs.templately.com/home/save-templates-design-on-mycloud/), choose the workspace instead of **My Cloud** in the save window, then click **Save & Push**.
- **From inside the workspace:** open the workspace and click **Add Templates**. Pick a source (**My Clouds**, **My Workspaces** or **Shared Workspaces**), select the templates and click **Add to Workspace**.
- **From My Cloud:** open the menu on a saved item and click **Copy to WorkSpace** to share a copy, or **Move to WorkSpace** to move it out of My Cloud.

## Step 4: Use Shared Templates on Any Site

Your team opens Templately from the Elementor or Gutenberg editor on their own site, goes to **My WorkSpace** or **Shared with Me**, opens the workspace and inserts the template they need. Everyone works from the same designs, so pages stay consistent across sites.

## Manage a Workspace

Open the menu on a workspace card to **Edit** or **Delete** it. In **Edit Workspace** you can rename it, invite more people and see whether each invitation is **Invited**, **Accepted** or **Rejected**. Deleting a workspace is permanent, and Templately asks whether to delete its files too.

## Templately WorkSpace FAQs

- Do my teammates need a Templately account?

Yes. You invite people by email, and they sign in to Templately with that email to see the workspace. See [how to create a Templately account](https://docs.templately.com/home/create-account-an-templately/).
- Where do I find a workspace someone shared with me?

Click **Templately**, then your profile icon, then **Shared with Me**. A workspace appears there after you accept the invitation, and you can insert its templates from the Elementor or Gutenberg editor.
- Can I remove a template from My Cloud after sharing it?

Yes. Use **Move to WorkSpace** instead of **Copy to WorkSpace** and the item leaves My Cloud and lives only in the workspace. With **Copy to WorkSpace**, the two copies are separate, so deleting one does not remove the other.
- What happens to the templates when I delete a workspace?

Deleting a workspace is permanent. Templately asks whether you also want to delete the files in it, so you can keep copies elsewhere first. Templates you only copied from My Cloud stay in My Cloud.
